This Privacy Policy describes how Machina Sports collects, uses, and stores information when you use the Sports Narrator Alexa skill.
1. Information We Collect

We do not collect your name, email, payment details, or any other personally identifiable information beyond the anonymized Alexa User ID provided by Amazon.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Deliver personalized sports updates for your saved favorite teams
- Identify your next upcoming match to schedule Alexa Reminders
- Improve skill performance via anonymized, aggregated usage logs
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing.
3. Third-Party Services
- Sportradar — real-time sports data (NFL, NBA, Soccer). Fetched on-demand, not stored. Privacy Policy ↗
- Machina AI — our platform processes requests and stores your favorite team preferences in encrypted MongoDB Atlas.
- Amazon Alexa Reminders API — reminder content is provided by the skill; storage and delivery are managed by Amazon.
4. Data Storage and Security
- All data stored on AWS infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit (TLS)
- Access restricted to authorized Machina personnel only
- Your Alexa User ID cannot be mapped to your real identity by us
5. Your Rights
To delete your stored data:
- Disable the skill in the Alexa app (stops future collection)
- Email privacy@machina.gg with subject "Delete my Alexa Sports Narrator data"
We process deletion requests within 30 days.
6. Children's Privacy
This skill is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
